Consequential Lyrics: The Zine Launch Party!

We're celebrating the launch of the Consequential Lyrics zine and project with a party at Melbourne's famed zine emporium, Sticky Institute, which is tucked away in the Degraves Subway underneath Flinders Street. It's on Friday 6th September between 6pm-8pm and there'll be stellar performances from Marcella Wright and Gary Trovato of Faith and Gasoline! It'll be all kinds of perfect, I tellsya.

For those of you who are unable to make it to the launch, you can purchase a physical or a digital copy of the Consequential Lyrics zine from the C&CM Etsy Shop. A few copies will also be available to purchase at Sticky too! The 24 page A5 page is handwritten in coloured ink and features ten essays, examining the personal meanings derived from pop lyricism. There will love, some heartbreak, a dash of yearning, not to mention frustration, crowded dancefloors and all that good stuff we all tend to live for.

To accompany the zine, here is an MP3 gift pack featuring all the songs featured in the zine. Hear the songs, feel the pain!
